PROJECT HEALING WATERS - ATLANTA
We started at the Shepherd Spinal Center on 10/26/2011. It's a small class of only 4 vets,
but talk about enthusiasm, and talk about being able to tie flies, WOW! We have now
graduated several new fly fisherman and all of them are taking their new found skills to
another level. Besides fly tying we are teaching rod building as part of our FF 101 program.

New SSC Grad getting his Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing Pin

On Saturday, February 18, 2012 five veterans from the Shepherd Center and five volunteers from Project Healing Waters gathered for a little fishing on the Hooch at
Paces Mill Park. The weather cooperated and held back the rain just enough to get in four hours of fishing. By the end of the trip, were we had to drag the guys off
the water, we had five new fly fisherman. A BIG thanks to all the volunteers for their time and expertise. We couldn't do it without you: Bill, Henry, Tony, and Von.
